Am I the only person in britain that has a good word to say about stratstone dealership? I have used stratstones for about 2 years, never had a problem with them. Car is always ready when promised, cleaned inside and out, courtesy car always availble. Salesman very friendly. 100% satisfied

Pretty happy with Stratstone Milton Keynes. When I collected it after the first service it was spotless and looked as though they had polished it too.  He who dies with the most tools wins!

You have to look at it in volumes.

One customer vocally happy versus 30 uhappy or vice versa etc.

In my opinion one customer unhappy is enough to put you off.

Sometimes the sales is totally different to the servicing in terms of customer satisfaction etc....

I would give them a thumbs up - purchased a Freelander 2 from Stratstone Aylesbury and a Defender from Stratstone Hull; both excellent deals with 100% customer service!

I've only had good experiences from Stratstone Swansea (bar one - see here, but like I said in that thread I'd still buy from there again.)

Only Stratstone I ever used was Honda in Bedford and I thought they were great. Not quite as good as Marshall's Land Rover in Bedford but then I didn't buy my Honda from Stratstone. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue..

I would give Stratstone Stourbridge a wide berth!! I will be writing to their dealer principle tomorrow to convey my disapointment and I'll share the response.

Loving the FL2 though!

Stratstones Edinburgh okay, but there is one salesman who when told they were a bit pricey in comparison with other garages, threw a strop and wouldn't talk. How mature is that?

I have bought my last 4 cars from Stratstones, mainly because I have a very good contact in both Jag & LR who go out of their way to meet my expectations.

Had mixed dealings with Stratstones Bury.
Bought FL1 new in 2000, was stitched up with the PCP _ told them I did 35-40K a year they put 20K mileage down because the computer wouldn't let them put 40K miles!, and like a prat I didn't check the paperwork and took the sales guy at his word
Wouldn't honour the warranty, expensive on servicing and parts, such a bad experience I eventually (2.2 years later) handed it back, paid the excess mileage and bought a Skoda.

Latest car was bought from them, because you either have a G4 for sale or you don't.
This time they were good on price, helpful, nearly matched my bank on finance terms, delivered a spotless car on time.
Haven't tried the warranty/service puerly because the guys a Guy Salmon do honour the warranty, will do a deal on service costs, and will discount parts for long serving customers. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Will let you know what I think of the Cupar branch of Stratstones shortly as my F2 is there next week for the first service. I have never used this branch before but have had a real humdinger with the Sales Manager of Perth branch, who in my opinion is an ,

The Perth branch look down their noses at you. The Cupar ones don't. The parts guy, Fraser is a really helpful and knowledgable bloke.

I was passing a couple of weeks ago. They had a Freelander 2 wheel drive GS and a couple of RRS in the showroom.
