I found a Dynamic at a breakers having been written off due to the owner driving it into a rather large puddle, there was a tide mark around the dash vents However, they wouldn't sell me the front bumper

I collected my new car on 1st March 2014 and on the 3rd March 2014 JLR issued a press release starting the changes for the MY15 Freelander. The only cosmetic change was that the clear headlamp reflector was now blacked out.

Finally after much thinking I thought it would be a wise move if I could sell my existing MY14 halogen headlamps with DRLs and Signatures and then pick up a set of MY15 halogens with DRL'S and Signatures. Basically its the same lights just with the black headlight reflector.

The lights arrived within a couple of days




Duckworths sent out the lights in Dans absense but one was an EU spec light

I took this as a sign that it's a good time to pay the difference and upgrade to Xenon headlamps with DRL's and Signatures. I phoned up Duckworths again and spoke to Dan and purchased a set of brand new MY15 xenons which will arrive on Tuesday :thumbsup:

Got the drivers lamp fitted to show the difference and car is now MY15 converted

The black headlight reflector looks good as it matches the gloss black grill in addition to the fog lamp bezel.

Productive day off work today! Got the other lamp fitted 1 minute job and then took it to a MOT centre to get the beam checked.

MY15 conversion is now completed

Popped in past the bodyshop on the way home and the spoiler is looking nice! It's a bit dusty the bodyshop did say they will give it a clean and a polish once fitted. The guys kindly unwrapped it for me and this is the first time I have actually seen it painted! Tbh it just looks like a OEM spoiler but larger which is the look I was after Cars booked in the for 6th April to have it fitted and will most likely be kept in overnight as its approximately the weight of 4 spoilers! Will certainly keep the rear down nicely on country roads
