Australia 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Zermatt Silver

Hi Guys.

I am from Australia and unfortunately the Freelander 2 is not terribly popular down here. The dealers are quite hopeless when it comes to assisting with even the littliest things.

My question is in relation to wheel fitment. Can I fit a set of either 19" Land Rover Discovery 3 or Range Rover Sport Wheels to my Freelander? No one over here seems to know if the offset is fine let alone if the stud pattern is exactly the same. Im sure plenty of you guys have fitted them. It's ok to be ugly, but you've overdone it!

Are you allowed to fit 19'' ? Mine has 17" and I have a note in the Registration that I can only put 17" or 18" wheels. FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER

Just fitted the HSE 18" wheels and Pirelli Scorpion tyres on my drive last evening and tried the combination for the first time (been driving all winter with 16" winter tyres). Amaising difference it makes as well Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Do you mean difference in grip and car response or ride comfort? FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER

Quieter, faster, better grip on roundabouts, much better ride comfort and smarter looks. I should mention that the 16" wheels have stud less winter tyres that have a much finer tread pattern, softer rubber, not as wide and made for use on ice and snow where they perform very well. In summer on dry roads they are not comfortable to use by comparison. I was quite surprised just how much difference the 18" summer tyres made Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
