OK, something happend. The flame symbol in the display lit up together with the 30 min countdown, then the 30min disappeared and finally the flame symbol also disappeared.

The burner will not start if the engine temperature is over 15 degrees Celsius...
When you took the car out, it was for sure enough for the engine temperature to rise above 15 degrees.

Webasto now starts and stops on bus instructions from my 1533 timer. Looking forward to further tests this weekend in the mountains at minus 20 deg C

Someone once mentioned a possibility of activating the burner via the original key fob by remapping one of the buttons.

To do this I guess I need to find the corresponding remote fob signal in the car and route it to the burner button on 1533 timer.

So my question is - does the receiver in the car carry each signal on a different wire or is it all connented to central can-bus or something like that.

Yes, I was that person.
But I've built a microcontroller based device that take some signals from the car and drive the Webasto module directly by talking with it in w-bus protocol.

To answer your question, the buttons are decoded and sent through can-bus, so there are no independent wires for each key-fob signal.

Use a different remote control module (even a GSM one) for remote start the Webasto with the help of 1533 oval timer.

Just took delivery of Dynamic with Dynamic Plus and Cold weather pack. Trying to confirm the presence of the auxillary heater. Handbooks suggests I should be able to activate / set via the timed climate control system from the home menu but there is no icon to access the timed climate control system. Any ideas?

Forgot to mention - mine is a new model 13 FL2 (I think that's how you classify it) registered January 2013.

Based on the land rover uk configuration website there is no option to have an auxillary heater in the uk. You will have a electric heater that warms up the air while the rest of the car heats up.

Can anyone tell me more exactly where to find the end connector to the telestart receiver in the boot?
I've checked the connector behind the glovecompartment and the blue/white cable is in both ends of the connector.
Happy for all help I can get.
