Yes my roof spoiler does curve to follow the lines of the top of the tailgate. I took a photo this morning and put it in my gallery. Have a look and I hope it answers your question.

I'm sure I read on this forum somewhere that if the outside temperature was around 0 degrees C the car would automatically set itself to Grass/Gravel/Snow mode. Or did I dream that?

I've got a HSE with the standard spoiler fitted. I'll try to have a look tomorrow if it curves, and will post again.
