According to wikipedia, your guy was wrong, as E46 Beamers are assembled in one of the following locations. Not in Singapore plant.
Leipzig, Germany

If you are looking for an "extra punch", just switch the dial to sand mode and see what it does, before spending bucks to remapping IMO.
MPG is totally another deal. |

| As long as you remain on the suggested tyre sizes speedo isn't a problem. All tyres that specified by LR for the 16 - 17 - 18 or 19 rims are almost the same diameter. |

| Mine has the Continental CrossContact UHP's on it from stock. I don't think many manufacturers have this size. |
