Ian, you are correct. Standard WD40 is a water proofer. You should use WD40 Silicone spray as lubricant.
People use WD40 everywhere. Used as designed it is an excellent product. |

Did you have to “wire” it in was it plug to fit the Landrover system?
I was led to believe that Landrovers are fitted with a dedicated socket within the car. |
