Hi - I have a 2010 HSE TD4 with genuine roof racks and rails, and will soon be embarking on a camping adventure. I'd like to have the tent, chairs and maybe some bits and pieces on the roof - can anyone recommend a make/model of roof basket which looks good and works well? Maybe the dimensions you found to be most effective?

The plan would be to take it off when not needed - so ease of fitting is important!

After looking at the Thule, Rhino and Rola options, I spoke to my local Land Rover dealer and gotte genuine item for the same price as the aftermarket option...

Looks the business.

For those interested the genuine part is LR006848 and requires the roof racks to be fitted.

I have the Thule Ranger 90 bag, it works well.

Its not as long as it covers the sun roof. One disadvantage with it is that is is not recommended to drive with it empty, but removing it and putting it on is quite easy.

Thinking of combining it with the Thule roof basket you have in the link on your post.

I think the Thule basket-rack can be stretched out, so you can adjust the length of it.
