Rear Spoiler - Slight Curve from Aerial View?

Hi Guys,
I've just acquired a rear spoiler but the part number is from the 'big' body kit and therefore not LR002464. The part number is LR-P013F.

There wont be a problem with the fit but i was wondering if anyone out there has a LR002464 (HSE) rear spoiler fitted and looking from the top down is there a slight curve to the spoiler?

Thanks

I've got a HSE with the standard spoiler fitted. I'll try to have a look tomorrow if it curves, and will post again. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

You don't really think they would manufacture two different spoilers do you? Whistle

I think the LR-P013F part number is as you say Part of the 'sports styling kit' as the spoiler wasn't originally fitted on early HSE's and also couldn't be purchased separately and came only in the full kit. Then changed to part no. LR002464 when they realised they could make a fortune selling a ten bob bit of plastic for £150.

Morning, Maffs.
Yes my roof spoiler does curve to follow the lines of the top of the tailgate. I took a photo this morning and put it in my gallery. Have a look and I hope it answers your question.
I was going to put the photo on here, but I havn't sussed that out yet.

Hi, does the spoiler keep the tailgate window cleaner in motorway spray? or is it just a style item?
Many thanks

It act's a good snow collector (easier to keep the roof snowfree without) - therefore not worth having in snowy countries Whistle 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

I don't think the spoiler helps with spray on the rear window. I have to have the rear wiper on at anything over about 30 mph in the rain, and the car has rear mudflaps.
Looks nice though!

I think maffs is right, the thing on the roof is for the GPS/satnav.

Thanks for the info on posting a photo, Dave. I'll try it out soon. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!
