G/KM Freely auto

Looking at the new brochures it's showing the Freely auto as 214 g/km, whereas mines listed on the V5 as 224, is the lower figure the result of the DP filter (which I know mine hasn't got) or maybe a typo? Or is it another tweak they have done to improve emissions Question

There are two versions for 2,2 L diesel in different countries. Mine is a 118 kW without the particle filter, where there is a 112 kW version with the particle filter sold on I don't know where markets. 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

Revised emissions tunes at 2010MY = 214 g/km for auto, all previous model years are 224 g/km. DPF doesn't make a difference! Model year identifier is 10th character in VIN, 2010 = A

Just checked and still stays in the same tax band, which is +£30 from 1st March this year Big Cry (£215 goes to £245).

As were being 'encouraged Rolling with laughter ' to go for cleaner and greener cars, you can bet our band K goes to £425 March next year Shocked

Mine is a 2008 model and is 224g and I know when I ordered mine it made no differance if I had specced a particle filter. Thumbs Up Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys

Is it because the new models with stop/start have lower emissions ??

The auto doesn't have stop/start so don't think that can explain it - good idea tho.
