I was speaking to a LR dealer today and putting a few of our concerns to him.

1. The deals for the quarter begining April, may match the present deals, but it's unlikely to be better, simply because supply and demand seemed to have equalled out. If we had the benefit of Madam Fifi and her crystal ball.............

2. The price of 21750 for a FL2 GS including paint and privacy is about the most they will discount. We'd only be arguing about the odd 20 quid. not bad, paying S prices for a GS spec, but we aren't going to see last year prices. for example, the D4 is only being discounted by 1k, again demand is outstripping supply. I was advised a years time, it might be different.

3. They do read this forum and posts and others besides. A few quotes from posts were mentioned, not in any sinister way, just chit chat.

No, but it comes in handy, especially if you have a silver FL2. Goes with the silver topped perms of the drivers. LR are thinking of coming up with a new special model. A Miss Daisy Special, only one gear, auto bidet situated within all seats, a Urine filter instead of a Pollen filter, for those nasty can't get rid of smells. Oh, i'd better stop before I get onto Disabled Badges.

I must have missed the release of the 2.3 petrol Laughing

I think that's an old site as many of the vehicles listed (2009my) are not available in the network, such as HST's. We have a system called DSM where you can view the UK's stock and there are no 09my left at all.

But drivethedeal.com have MY10 cars and prices and will do a GS for just over 20K, or an XS with 5K off list which makes it about 23.5K..... I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...

TD5 D-Lander hopefully finished soon!
FL2....this year with any luck!

James
Whats the availability of 3.2's in the network? Are there any discounts available on new? or are there any used Landrover cars?

Rowy, the i6 was discontinued for the UK a while back (can't remember exactly but approx 12 months ago), and there are none left in UK stock. There were a couple of ex-LR i6's that went through auction last week in Rimini Red. Only option for an i6 is used now or a UAE or USA Market.
