Hardly surprising CG, you never go out in it - you are spending too much time with that guy John Deere with his throbbing powerplant between your legs............................

Hi all,
My freelander developed some rattling in the dashboard (sounds like under the speaker in the middle) and I believe some in the front passenger door trim.
This drives me nuts and I can't seem to pin point the source.
I came across a product called Rattlebuster which is a CD that suppose to play some low frequency tones that cause the rattles to appear without driving.
Any experience with this product?

Cheers,
CK

I tested it. It did not help. I can not tell if it is works or not. Maybe my sort of noise (still trying to find the source) can not be found with rattlebuster.

FL 2 GS Auto 2008. Noise from centre of dash radio area was correctly diagnosed by dealer as faulty interior driving mirror, new mirror fitted no further problems. Squeeze glass and mirror back tightly to check
During 25 years with Ford Dealership I had plenty experience at diagnosing rattles.

Mine also has a rattle noise coming from the interior mirror. I can hear it when driving in not so good roads and disappears when squeezing mirror top to bottom. Do you think a dealer would replace it for that?

Not a rattle or even russle from mine - even with the hearing aid on.
