We're in the process of parting with our 6 year old Fiesta ST - its been totally reliable, economical and fun to drive. But my better half, who drives it the most - mainly short trips increasingly finds it awkward to get in and out of - long family history of arthritis.

So we have ordered a Renault 4.

Mini Land Cruiser FJ25 copy. Let's hope we can get it in the UK.

After all the negatively, you're going electric. That makes me happy. Thumbs Up

If you can charge at home, there’s no cheaper way to get about if you charge on an EV tariff. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.
Audi A5 convertible, the daily driver.
1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project.

Well exactly - we had solar panels and battery installed last year and have been delighted with the results. This "utilitarian" R4 is the sort of car that appeals to us and will almost exclusively be charged at home.

The Fiesta needed to go and I was offered a good price. I doubt the new EV will hold its value as well but thats how it goes sometimes.

Just means I can spend more time undertaking the sort of car maintenance that I enjoy, looking after the FL2. Jules

It's supposed to be around the same size as a Jimny.
