Does anyone know what this does the grey/black connector it seams to be a sensor magnetic or otherwise. I know what the green connector on the otherside does and have the wiring diagram for it.

This is the diagram I have for the main sensor connector but cannot identify the other one.

I am asking this because my command shift has never worked and after testing I believe the main switch/sensor is faulty and to complete testing I wanted to check this out before changing the main sensor. |

I cant find it in the JLR manual. I wonder what it does ? Jules |

Thank you both for your input, as you can see from the latest photo the grey connector connects into the black socket which serves only to dock the grey connector. I can only assume that the connection must be for other countries than ours.

Thanks I was really surprised by the command shift and sports mode. The car was sluggish pulling away and I live on a blind bend cmplete with nutters and so having another way of helping with that is a good thing.
