I, , am 100% sure it can't. It's a reset and you will have to recalibrate windows, all doors unlock, etc.

My layman understanding, it's a solution to corrupted residue data remaining in ECU, CPUs, BCUs, etc. from a discharging battery. For some reason, it solves many issues that remain after battery drain. It's a comfort zone thing, IMO, but it does seem to work. I was also hesitant initially.

Ok So today, the interior alarm volumetric sensor was checked, also not DTC faults on my Hawkeye, checked the battery which was saying 12.75 so looks to be ok from this chart below.

Don't know how old the battery is, it was on the car when purchased, there is a code on the battery if anyone know how to break it down, ie month year etc please.

On MY07 i have a YUASA which is not 7yrs old to what i know off, which i know needs changing.

found most of the online articles are generic but Bosch (and Varta) don't conform to systems used by any other manufacturers.

Put simply, the date is encoded in the 4th, 5th and 6th numbers. Before 2014 it was simply YMM but after that, you need the table.

Have you also done another hard reset yet ? Like I said earlier when I had this problem as well as taking off the sensor and cleaning it, I hard to do the hard reset to resolve the issue. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep

Milo it looks like i will have to revert to the hard reset, after volumetric sensor was removed and cleaned, he two bleeps on pressing the open on the fob still remains.

The volumetric sensor was full of debris, blown in from when the sunroof is open presumably.

As stated in other posts you just pull the sensor downwards carefully.

Put it on a clean paper towel undo the two 15 torx screw's and lift, slightly open the sides with your fingers and he board will come out.

blow it out, a small brush was used and the electrical connector was given a quick blast with contact cleaner.

The board refitted and the sensor reinstated to the roof of the FL2

So hard reset today sometime, below will need doing if I'm correctly advised.

Reset as follows:
1.Close the window fully.
2.Release the switch, then lift it to the close position and hold for 1 second.
3.Repeat the procedure on each window.
4. maybe the clock?

I wouldn't put it past for someone to design a system with beeps to indicate a fault with the beeps.  Jules

Today my intention was to do the hard reset today, but when checking the connections to the battery there seems to be some wire going from the earth to the positive then onto the main loom.

Shown in these photos below.

So therefore would the positive & negative if removed off the battery poles, be joined anyway without me touching them together for the 30seconds

Anyone else have so many connection to their battery.

I don't know if codes need to be cleared as they did also he cycles ignition a few times.

Are the extra wires on the battery to do with the Battery Management System.

That's part of the battery monitor system. It has to connect to the positive and negative at the battery, to eliminate losses in the earth cable to the body.

You can still do a hard reset, as there's no electrical connection on the leads, even though it looks like there is. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
