Audio Alerts

I had three quick beeps through the audio system shortly after switching the engine on and then again after 5 mins or so's driving.

No idea what it means - can't see anything in the handbook. Nothing obviously wrong mechanically, no warning lights etc.

Anyone got any ideas? Is there an official comprehensive list of possible audible alerts and their meanings?

info screen always explains the beeps as they happen, if not youve either got faulty park sensors or a very odd CD in the slot At work

In tandem with the beeps, you should get an arrow in the central information screen regarding what the beeps were for. Thumbs Up

Her ladyship's FL2 does not bleep when the Ice Warning is present. If it did it would be permanently on through all winter where we live.

We do get a Low Fuel beep - and that in my opinion comes on far too early in her FL2 at around 60mls of fuel left.

This must be a differing software issue. Mine beeps twice when first turned on at temperatures under 4 degrees and a little "snowflake" appears next to the temp. readout. John

Funny that - mine comes on at about 50/60 miles to empty and yet I still always leave it the last minute and end up playing fuel light bingo all the way to the petrol station! I think It might also be todo with landrovers optimistic 3/4 full and 1/4 I'm on fumes fuel gauge! Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
