Hi, what is the problem with the propshaft ? I also have a Freeelander 2 form 2011 and I suspect propshaft. When I drive al low speeds there is a noise like a stick between the spoke of a bicycle wheel. Some times it dissapears. I have removed the propshaft and the noise is gone. I do not know what is the problem and if it can be sorted out by repairing the propshaft or buy another one.

I then grabbed the prop at the rear and checked for play forward and backwards. Moved it very abruptly.

Are you sure itβs not just a heat shield that has got bent and is rubbing on the prop shaft? I had that after some green laning and a river crossing.
