It was prior to the bosch filter install.

Just removed the fuel pump. Is the fuel pump drive supposed to be movable at the camshaft end?

I can put my finger in the hole where the pump drive is but it's got play?

In the images it looks like the drive is separate? Removable?

Just to let everyone know and anyone encountering similar issues. I fitted a new HPFP and it seems to have cured the issue. I sourced mine from Maltings4x4 ebay shop for £289 on an exchange basis.

Planning on replacing my HPFP too. Was this a difficult job? Any tips?
