United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Zermatt Silver

Hello Chris B

This is why I complained to my Dealer, believe it or not I'm getting 40mpg (except when towing).

On all previous cars ie 406, Passats, Laguna (great car, but everything eventually failed) I would get at least 35,000 on tyres.

I'm hoping my new set will be better.

1 year and a bit old, 8000 miles, had niggle with rear sensor (loose wire) but apart from that the free2 been great. Shame the dealer's makes things bigger than necessary but thats not the cars fault.

Further to my 15th May, 'no problems' post, I now, suddenly, have a 10.700 mile howl, which is loud at times, which my dealer tells me is a failing power steering pump. The car howls, without needing to turn the steering wheel and is not actually louder, even if the wheel is turned. Booked in for a new pump plus reservoir. Sad

Norway 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Caspian Blue

18 months, 48.000 kms later, I can report that this car runs flawlesly. Absolutely no problems since I changed the wiper-motor when the car was two weeks old.

I had some starting-problems at minus 25C where I had to call LR Road-service. But later I have been wondering if this was my own fault. This is my first diesel, and I was unaware of the heating-period, so I pushed the start-button again when nothing happened. And then again.... I probably jammed something.

Has started perfectly in the cold later when I have awaited the heating period.

Run to the dealer and buy a FL2 you too..... Cool 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

No, as I said the last time: I did not replace my battery. They checked it, and upgraded the software, as they found nothing wrong. -And left the battery where it was.

So my memory is perfect, but your memory Whistle 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.
