United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Orkney Grey

No shame there. VW group SUVs are very good. We have a VW Tiguan along with the Freelander. Dad and brother have had a variety of Skoda flavoured versions. (Thought you were going to have bought a Dacia Duster). Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

If it is it looks a nice car.

how the hell did you do that ?????
You are spot one, youve won a banana, its in the post now . . . . .Yes, I am someone who said I would NEVER have a white car, yet some cars to my eye look okay or great in that colour . . .
Dont mind manual box at all and I do like a sun roof which it has.

I like it in your suggested white trim and shiny wheels, as I am not a fan of the 'blacked out' look.

Finding it was the result of a lifetime of problem solving and computer security.

Or perhaps the truth is I googled "car for sale Durham £15980" and liked the look of this one. (and hoped I was right)

Another option would be the black trim with the shiny wheels?

for anyone remotely interested, i sold my lovely Freelander 2

2007 HSE with 169,700 miles on it, I was offered £1500 trade which was about the going rate, then I thought I have nothing to lose, stuck it on fb marketplace, within 5 minutes I had the buyer, I had it on for the bargain price of £2650 . . . .ANYTHING above £1500 was a bonus . . . . .he offered £2400 as we re-enacted the usual scene from wheeler dealers, , I was thinkin I fancied a curry so i pushed him and we settled on £2450.

So we shook like Mike Brewer, ' how out ya hand, youve just bought a cracking motor '

loved the freelander, still do, cost me a lot to keep going, I bought it in Dec 2016 for £5,250 . . .sold it May 2022 for £2450

BUT, I only did 13,000 miles and must have spent easily £3,500 or more on getting it just right. crazy when i think about it, not as crazy as some of the fl2 prices out there, mine should have gone for 10 grand . . .why? Because it has proved it can do over 169000 miles the lesser mileage ones have not proved that Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

Nice one Thumbs Up Looking at similar mileage HSE's on AutoTrader, that's still quite cheap - especially considering what you've spent on it to get it right.
I nearly sent you a PM as I decided I really wanted it - until SWMBO pointed out there was nothing wrong with the one I have (strange, she says that about something else, too Embarassed ), the price of diesel , insurance etc etc. and that the money would be better spent on an LPG conversion. Typical ! Since owning my Freelander 2, I somehow have no other vehicles around me. Usually I have several Land Rovers on the go at any time. That's something that HAS to change. Laughing 1 Land Rover in my life just isn't enough !!!!

thanks for that realbeale . . . .I was just glad to see a lad buy it who genuinely loved it rather than think it would go off to auction somewhere, my heart is broken with letting it go, if it was only 8 years old i would have kept it, the wheel arches were bubbling away, the inside of every door was rusty, it was praying on my mind that I needed a change. 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -
