England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver
can anyone explain this please

when searching ebay for FL2 parts, this quite often happens where there is a choice of engine.

Which engine do I have on a 2007 HSE Manual gearbox . . . .log book shows DZ58400, the four choices on ebay show that the top and bottom one are compatable with whatever part it is, but the middle two do not . . .

England

There is a list of engines and a list of years however not all engines were available in the chosen year so if the engine didn't exist in that year the is says it doesn't fit, change the year to when the engine was current and the part should fit if not specific to that year or engine, this would normally affect trim. There were changes internally on some engines over the years so beware, but the software for the sIte and application is very generic to cover themselves, you may find some sites have refined the software to be more accurate, so if in doubt try another sIte supplying the same item my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Do not trust that vehicle checker software at all.

I have searched for certain part numbers that I know will fit whichever car they’re for but when using those part checkers am told said part won’t fit! (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
