I use an iPhone 11 in my 2008 HSE and it connects without difficulty. There is an issue, though, with microphone pickup in the car. This has always been a problem - I can hear callers perfectly, but they struggle to hear me. Several different phones have been tried and the in-car microphone replaced, all without any improvement. I wish that I could improve this aspect.

You're very fortunate - I liked the 11 but no joy at all in getting connectivity in my 63 plate. Even LR confirmed it wouldn't work

Doesn’t sound like it’s Apple's fault.

Is this any use

This bluetooth setting used to be a common problem in the early years of bluetooth connected equipment.

I’d be interested to know the procedure you go through to connect your iPhone 11 so I can attempt to replicate it with the 12, you never know eh!
