HVAC Module with seat heater switches completed today. Not done a new module initialisation before so that was a new experience and with all the error messages flashing up on the dash, most of them I'd never seen before, you can say there was a moment of leather upholstery being sucked up one sphincter!
Haven't activated "heated seats" as yet in CCF (there's 3 fields) as I was busy with another task within my CCF.
Had a slight hiccup with seat heater module link harness as LR have stuffed up their Microcat parts list so Dan and I have sorted LR's Less than accurate parts listings and I'm just waiting for replacement link harnesses, hence the HVAC module change this weekend as it was going to be last on the job list. MY15

Hahahahaha, been waiting for you to say that! What's taken you so long!

Heated screen! - really easy retrofit, new screen, plugs already in plenum chamber, activate - would never be used in Australia.

Heated Steering Wheel - again really easy, wheel, switch pack with switch, clock Spring, no need to activate in CCF - I may possibly do later if a wheel comes available at a good price and I run out of projects. I'll see how much use I get out of my seats first, probably need a/c on with heated seats here in AU, lol! MY15

Dealer will not be able to help whatsoever with this due to a JLR software error that obviously they are unaware of!

And all is back to normal after the dismantling, lol.

Well it's July (nearly) here in OZ and it's as cold as its going to get and I can say my seats are amazing! Not a feature I'm going to get a lot of use out of here in Austalia but enough to see why you guys in the colder countries would!!!
So if you don't have them in your Freelander 2 then you can!
Hog ring pliers are a must or use cable ties but after using the hog ring pliers I would say that's a "lazy" option.
CCF error from JLR for >MY13 is no problem either, the solution is here, just contact Cambo to arrange file upload. I'm afraid no one will have the fix for this otherwise, including and especially a LR dealer, crazy really!
Possibly the only thing I will change is dropping the heat setting/calibration to the cooler setting as the seats get rather toasty quickly and I end up turning them off sooner rather than later as they're little too hot even on setting one. Simple CCF edit. MY15

So happy with the seats, I had to go the full hog!
If you think this is a gimmick then you simply Havn't experienced using this feature, trust me, it's great and I'm in Australia!

May need this yet to qualify for the "OU" in front of my "HSE"!

Never seen one, probably neither the dealer and last thing you need over here is something working against the a/c or an accidental finger activation of heated seats or steering wheel!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 MY15

Which fields to edit for heated seats FL2

Can anyone tell me what 3 fields to activate/change in the CCF? I have a black box solutions nanocom. Ive already changed the CCF field to heated seats and changed the seat heat calibration field (not sure which value to select though?). What is the third field to edit?

NB. All the wiring for heated seats was already in my car. I changed the seats from electric seats only to electric seats with heated seats. After altering two values in the CCF, the lights now come on the heater control panel for the seats. Just no heat from either seat. Fuses are both fine in the boot glove box. Ive tried two different heater control panels to see if that made a difference but it didn't
