| Grue Member Since: 29 Apr 2018 Location: New Zealand Posts: 392      | Could go for blanking plate on EGR (cheap on ebay, easily reversible, no worries on a 2008) but unsure how thorughly they check for that for MOT in the UK these days. | ||

The car has passed the Mot , yes but is still intermittant especially when cold , I have put this done to the fact that the EGR is still a bit chOKED FROM 2YRS OF GUNGE. What has changed this is the fitting of the vacuum pipes and new solenoid, which I found disconnected along with the throttle body electrical connector . Maybe the easiest answer was just to blank everything off , but hey ho!
