I have always found AF to be very expensive.
They have always been more into modified cars which I don't have.

Currently with LV, as they are the cheapest for older people.

I think I am with M&S for home insurance.

Still trying to get a sensible answer as to why my renewal has gone up 65 % this year. Using Aegis via Endsleigh with no changes or claims. Guess what, will be going elsewhere!

Done the usual comparison sites got quotes ranging from £150 to £600 plus, not a clue how they arrive at these figures.
Even factoring in that some companies are probably worse than useless if one makes a claim that does does seem one hell of a spread of prices.

Well after a number of years with L.V. and this years hike going up an extra £52!!
I mad the usual phone call to LV, the reply was that's the best we can do,
they had covered me through my years as a 4X4 responder and volunteer driver
at no extra cost, in the past I've always considered the ratings provided regarding
customer feed back over claims etc, so for this year I've moved to Admiral.

Before my Freelander, i had an Audi A4, insured through RAC and the vehicle change saw a small reduction in price. At renewal RAC increased premium by over £200 so I said no thanks. Checking through Meerkat I found Tesco gave the same cover for slightly less than the previous year with RAC so, needless to say, they got my business. This year to my great surprise I am back with RAC again and paying only marginally more than the first year with them. I am now at the age when premiums rise annually even in an otherwise level market. It does boggle the mind that this can happen.

Maybe I’ve been lucky. I always had my Evoque with LV. Apart from being the cheapest, they were one of the few that didn’t insist on a tracker and they covered the pan roof on the glass policy and not the general policy. I had one claim in 5 years for a screen and I asked, and received, a genuine LR one. They were always the cheapest for renewal and strangely enough, their renewal price was always cheaper that I could get from them as a new customer. Earlier this year I changed my Evoque for an A3 and I got money back! The renewal has just come in for the A3 at £213. (They did say last years premium would have been £195 so just an £18 increase). I can’t beat that price anywhere and even going as a new customer through a comparison site, they come in the cheapest......... at £220! I also have my dog insured with them and they have paid out twice this year with no problem. Looks like I’ll be staying with them. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
