United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Orkney Grey

Mine had this same message early on into my ownership, after buying it as an approved used car from Land Rover. Thankfully it was within warranty with Land Rover assist, so they came out and updated the gearbox software. About 3 years later still not had the message pop up. Freelander 2 XS 2013

Service and Cam belt completed today. All fault codes checked and no history of any faults, so remains a mystery. Fault sign just disappeared and has so far not returned. MOT the car as well today, 2 months early but as it was a, "Freebee", worth getting out of the way. "Happy Bloke".

My MY2013 has just started flashing up the same message from time to time. (more on than off now!!) I have had this before and sorted it out with a new battery. Current battery is about 18 months old and measures 12.85v so I don't think that is the problem now

Current mileage is 123k. Haldex was serviced by Bell's at about 65k. I was booked in for another service at Bell's anyway, but Austen cancelled as he was going on holiday so I need to reschedule. Hopefully that will fix it

Well message kept coming on for a while and then was off for about a while. Had rescheduled with Austen. Took it in. apparently the filter was pretty clear. On his advice had the Haldex pump replaced as intermittent error message can indicate that pump is on the way out

All is well now

Steve
