At long last, it has only taken 8 months, 3 seperate visits to one dealer and 4nr 1 week stays at another but it is 'touch wood' finally cured. Ive had rear suspension fittings replaced, the rear bodyskirt replaced, the rear passenger door stripped down but eventually a week in the bodyshop has cured it. When I asked what was causing it all I was told was that it took 3 days of 'key hole surgery' and alot of stripping down of the car because the cause was 'something inside the body' Not the most informative description I have ever heard but im not bothered because I can finally begin to enjoy my FL2 without the annoying knocking noise!

Ive now got an 5 page letter winging its way to Landrover HQ to complain about the poor standard of service that I have received from the 1 useless dealer (Stratstone) and the even more useless dealership (Marshalls) who have a Sales Manager who wont answer his phone or any of my email!! Glad they got it - especially annoying when they don't seem to know what it it is. From your description seems like same fault I had. No recurrence and what a difference

If it had been sorted sooner with less attempts then it would have been a short letter, unfortunately there were that many errors and instances of poor service that it ended up at five pages! Think its best to identify each problem I have had so that they can see how much I have been about
