You can have things fitted within 1000 miles and still have 3 years cover. I remember my dealer telling me Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I had an after market fixed towbar fitted to my 57 motor when it was a few days old......the rear park sensors work fine (Even WITH the dodgy-looking step, used when out shooting) when there is no trailer behind.....BUT the sensors ae still active, when something is electrially attached, which is a PITA..but then the aftermarket option was £400 cheaper. The few times I use a trailer/bikerack each year, its £400 better off in my pocket!

As another option if you cannot have a detachable one Witter have developed a detachable flange towbar http://www.witter-towbars.co.uk/Video/Deta...Flange.htm I don't know if it is available for the Freelander 2 though. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

You can fit the detachable Land Rover Towbar to the cars with the bodykit.

I believe everything fitted within 1k mils or 3months (whatever comes first) is under the 3yr warrenty, tough I guess 1k miles will in most case be the first thing you reach.
