Ian was amazing as Science Officer Ash in Ridley Scott's Alien. Still gives me goosebumps when I watch that scene today as a 50 year old. Absolutely amazing performance from an unassuming part of the crew , to android gone berserk.


Loved him in Time Bandits as Napoleon Bonaparte and also as Bilbo Baggins.
