Is there any voltage measurable on the socket?

PS when I took the front off my MY11 FL2 GC facelift model there was only one horn fitted and no spare wiring 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

When a manufacture (say ... JLR) changes components on production line, they sometimes build looms to allow for that component change . this may only effect a few 1,000's of vehicles. It is worth doing if supplier is erratic or will cease to supply. Also to maintain production without the manufacture having overflow or shortage of component parts, in this case horn or loom.

On OPs 13 plate ..... 57,500 approx were sold on 13/63 plates ...... a few 1,000's of loom is small beer.
