Plenty of farmers in N Ireland still running late model / end of line defenders although plenty of Japanese crew cabs too. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I like it. The first two on the floor I thought looked hideous. The Adventure and Explorer looked good.

Am I right in thinking that the 'Oil Dilution' and other DPF problems are only found in the Transverse mounted engines and not in the Longitudinal mounted engines.

I would think it is more to do with the intrinsic design of the engine’s EGR/DPF system.

As an aside I took a peek under the hood of my DiL’s new D5 while they were visiting recently and I was amazed at the size of the close coupled DPF (I assume thats what it was) it looked like a small dustbin squeezed down the rear side of the engine!

The panels can be deleted on the 90, but they are needed if you want a ladder for the roof rack. The 110 though they are part of the structure |

Isn`t that the Alpine window in the top curve of the roof similar to what the old Defender had?. There looks to be a little round light in the headlining just to the side of it. |
