I tried that when I had the problem but it made no difference.


Double beeping went away for a bit but is back now and again. I'm sure I can hear a light clunk from either the rear door or tailgate, just before the 2nd beep. It still locks and unlocks though. Service time next month so another thing to add to list

hi my 2008 HSE does not beep at all it only makes a blep when the door is not shut properly
does this mean my allem is not active (its broken )

Not everybody gets one of those especially when buying a used car. Shocked Common sense isn't very common.
