Wales 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver
300Tdi

Hi all.

I'm looking at building a 300 tdi engine to go into a Range Rover classic, I want to put a auto gearbox on it, was thinking of buying a auto discovery and swapping everything but don't want the electric injector pump which they put on the auto to help with power loss, if I put a boost pin and plate into my pump I'm faced with smoke issues, can anyone recommend something to give me more power without breaking the bank bigger turbo etc.

thanks Wayne

I'd have thought you'd probably get more info from people with experience of doing just that on other websites dedicated to old Range Rovers or older Landrovers. Im told that the 200tdi is the favoured engine of the two for doing transplants as its entirely mechanical, but I suppose there are not so many of them around these days. Jules
