United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Thanks enjoying the replies.

Mine are just cosmetic things really so far.

Rear parking camera
Rear light guards
Two din stereo
Replaced box above stereo with a Garmin
Added the interior aluminium look trim.
Replaced Gear knob and gaiter with new ones.
Raised the boot height by building a MDF shelf, and adding a dog ramp that I can pull out below it.
Ordered a tow bar and electrics that i’ll fit myself today
Also treated her to a Bell haldex. 2010 Freelander2 TD4_e GS

Bloody hell Lightwater. You're proud, but try not to have a thousand pics in someone else's thread. Just include a link to your update thread.

Don't mean to sound salty, makes the thread hard to read.

I'd say upgrading lights isn't a bad thing, even in a land of roos. Nice to see what you hit. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

Not in the lightwater or largered league, but I’ve found the Heatshot for the windscreen washers useful. In summer it clears the dried on midges and the big greasy flies off much better and on marginally frosty mornings it saves scraping the windscreen. Of course neither are an issue for those that are fanatical about car washing, or those with heated screens! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

New leather handbrake gaiter today.

Love the light bars, but personally just do not get them, don’t need them really unless you work off the beaten track. 2010 Freelander2 TD4_e GS

I looked at this 'bedding' solution ......... declined it in favour of the roof top tent.

But I admire your dogged determination. Whistle

Had a small patch of paint crazing on the bonnet about the size of a 50p piece. Didn't want to go to the expense and get it repainted, or go to the trouble of sourcing, buying and fitting a second hand one in the same colour either.
Liked the idea of the Evoque bonnet vents, but think they just look too girly. Not at all in keeping with the Freelander (Read "My Freelander"). Anyway, Evoque vents were too small for where I needed them to go from an aesthetic point of view so wouldn't look right if placed in position to cover the bad paint.

I've used RRS side vents on the bonnets of my F1's before , but didn't think they'd be "right" for the F2 either.

I'm happy with the mod, and being the i6 , reckon it'll help keep the under bonnet temperature down - which can be very, very hot, so it's not purely cosmetic. Cost £10.43. I also think it's in keeping with the HST body kit too.

So where did the vents come from? Regards
