Terrain response engaging itself !

I have noticed over the last few days of snow that the terrain response is engaging itself!
i have set it manually to snow/grass setting when the roads have been bad and then returned it back to its normal setting when the road are clear. Some time after this i notice that it has reengaged itself again . Does it respond to wheel slip and engage itself or is it faulty. Any ideas?

Ken

Mine has been doing this too, all had a TR has fault, not availible which also turned off the DSC

The other day i placed it in GG&S and left it there, went back to my car and it had reset to normal, which it should have done, as it was less than a hour after leaving it (should revert back after 6 hours)

So i booked it in to the dealers for them to look at it

Also been having "reduced engine power" when starting first thing Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

yep

Yep, TR on mine has re-selected grass/snow on start up for last 2 days after using it extensively on Sun / Mon, despite me using normal setting since then. Confused Life is not a dress rehearsal!

After sitting on the drive unused for two days it now defaults to snow and gravel setting! Other odd thing was after starting up both the sat nav and radio were disabled. After driving for about half an hour I stopped and started the engine, at which point both sat nav and radio started working again. It was as if the battery was slightly low, so none essential electrical equipment was switched off. TR is still not back to it's normal settings though.

Today, I tested Freel2 by ploughing into a snow drift in 'Normal' driving mode and the terrain response system automatically engaged one of the modes with curvy lines. Perhaps GGS, but I havent studied the graphics well enough to be certain. Impressed though Smile
