Even though the Freelander is obviously not automated. Driving around Australia there are long stretches​ of very boring driving which we both found made us more tired than an interesting landscape so we stopped at every rest stop simply to have some variation to freshen up.

Chatting with other drivers it was a similar story. Driving hundreds of kilometres in unchanging landscape day after day plays with one's mind. It is not easy driving! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
