I think it's on the VIN label at the base of the B post on passenger side (assuming your car is RHD)

Agree with Natwest. Just got my codes for some touch up paint. Tyre pressures on drivers side.

Hi Guys, for the life of me ive checked all positions mentioned in the thread to find the paint code for my 2009 black Freelander 2 and cannot find anywhere! Would you have a photo? Is it behind some of the interior trim panels? Cheers guys.

It IS on the N/S B post (between the doors) of RHD car. You will see "Santorini Black" or whatever.

Thanks Dunkley 201, checked there and nothing showing. My interior is beige. Is it a sticker and is it behind the trim? Would it be possible to get a photo of what you have Dunkley?

As stated in other posts ........ its on the lower portion of the Near-side 'B' pillar where it meets the sill

The plate will state the Land Rover Colour code as in LRC XXX

and then in words 'what the colour is called'

as in my vehicle .....

LRC 913 Biscay Blue

with this Code a body shop can mix the paint for an repair.

Good luck

Many thanks Largered for your help. I’ll check again. Is it a sticker on the Trim or embossed into it as nothing is showing on the outside. Is it on the body behind the B pillar trim perhaps?

If you open the passengers door from the outside and look down to the right towards the front edge of the back door you will see the 2 screws holding the bottom hinge for the back door to the door pillar. A couple of inches below this is a black sticker that has the vin number and also the paint code/name. Its not that noticeable unless you get your eye level down to sill level. Thumbs Up
