Finally took the plunge and got Stanley knife & soldering iron out to replace battery in errant key fob - it would start the car from the dock but not lock/unlock doors etc

I am now about to replace my key fob battery a second time and the present VL2330 lasted about 2 years. I will be replacing the case because the original is becoming decrepit and I do not wish to have dust and dirt enter and interfere with the momentary switches mounted on the PCB.

Replaced mine today too. 3 quid from RS for the battery, new case for a fiver from eBay, good as new! |
