Does seem high. I'm seeing 7 - 9 on the highway and 9.5 - 11 around town. Do you know if they upgraded the car's software at all? I have seen some significant changes in economy between diesel suppliers but it seems you may have covered this. Dusty conditions, could be the air filter? I'm not sure what the answer is. |

That is very high. I drive my FL2 hard and i sit on 10-11L. But this includes runs offroad as well. If i stayed on highway drive i average 6.5L.

The reason of the high diesel consumption could be the clogging of the diesel injectors by (diesel) soot, a known problem with modern diesel engines. The only working cure I know of is the adding of 2-T oil to the diesel fuel. For details pls. read the thread "2-T oil to the diesel" some pages further down in this forum.
