Make sure your getting correct voltage on the feed wires, some car manufactures don't use 12v feed's for the radio supply so another permanent 12v may be needed. |

Power for mine was piggy backed off a fuse in the passenger footwell fuse box

Thanks RogB. I got a switched live by accessing a yellow wire that led to the front cigarette lighter. I accessed it via the back of the centre console and trailed it via the gearstick and up into the dash. I used an SOT-082, the only issue is, the stereo doesn't naturally have a switched live and so you need to cut a wire and patch one in. Bit of a pain to be honest but saved me around £100 in fitting. |

Got my MKi9200 fitted at Halfords for £50. Seemed the easiest option! |

Ours came with a CK3100 fitted. I've no idea how it is wired but I know it uses both switched and permanent live because it stays on after removing the key if you are in the middle of a call.
