They're for releasing the headlight for when you need to take them out ..... eg bulb changing. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Wasnt sure if i need to get new ones ,they are a but of a pain ,especially on the drivers side getting my hands in the restricted space ,thank you |

One of mine broke also but I found that all it does is lift a restraining clip which I could reach and release by hand anyway. It's made from stupidly brittle plastic as well which doesn't help. |

Yeah, happened to me a while back, Dan from Duckworths was able to provide a replacement for around 4 quid posted after mine snapped. No choice but to buy replacement really.

Thanks ordered some from stratstone Cardiff £1.72 each ,rubbish plastic ,cheep and flimsy ,not really up to the job |

Why? I won't be replacing mine when it's so easy to release the headlamp by reaching down to the latch. Which is exactly what I did immediately after mine snapped off. |

On a proper Landrover it would have been fixed with a length of baler twine. |

Or maybe fence wire would be more appropriate. Or the equivalent in and around the home.....wire coat hanger. |
