I'd have thought a paint able to withstand 300 C be adequate for the rear box??? MY15

Hi Stuart,

I used heat proof spray paint on mine, similar to the pot belly paint you have found. Just to make it a little different I sanded the exhaust pipe, bit of wet and dry and metal polish and it comes up with a bright, stainless finish. Had it like that for a year now, and no rust, so seems durable.

Thxs for that Thumbs Up sounds like the pot belly paint is the way to go, it's a perfect match for original finish. Very Happy MY15
