I have a hawkeye and it's pretty good, works every time finds and deletes fault codes with no problem.its a bit vtec in operation but easy enough to use and I think it is worth the money.I also have a nanocom evo for my old D2 which is a far superior machine but unfortunately BBS don't yet do a unlock code for the FL2. |

Went to buy one today at keith gotts but the nice service chaps pluged there proper machine in and read the fault codes and cleared them all, wasnt anything for any of the injectors listed or any nasty fault codes listed. There was fault code for the glow plugs but he reset/cleared it. He said to try it again in the morning and if it happens again to pop back upto them so they can re test and see what faults show then go from there Failing that will leave the truck with them so they can try it from cold

Yes, I have one, the seller told me there are occasional issues with Windows 8. I did the install in a laptop with Win 8.1 and it worked right away. The installation will create an isolated Windows XP virtual machine, cut off from the internet. You can refer to this to create a vm: http://uobd22.over-blog.com/article-how-to...89789.html |

Compatability mode is not actually a VM, Windows just uses some alternative libraries to handle those procedure calls that are specific to XP. Most of the software obeyed will be the normal Windows kernel and not separated from the internet. I was once at a conference where a new software package was being launched and someone asked what platform does it run on? A voice from the audience said " an overhead projector ! " |
