United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Barolo Black
Drivers Window Stutter

Hi all, new to the forum.
Problem with my 08 SE model with the drivers window. When operating the down switch, the window moves down about 4 inches and stops. I have to release the switch and operate down again to get it to move down another 4 inches.
I repeat this until window is right down.
Same going up.
All other windows operate perfectly on one-touch.
I have tried the reset method to no avail.
Anybody suffered this problem?
Any tips before I shell out for a new switch assembly.
Thanks.

You could try and lube the window runners ( the window frame ) to see if this helps with a easyer slide, it might just be binding up? Some silicon spray might help just to try it

Your window regulator is in its way out.
It happened to me then it stopped working altogether and way stuck half way.
I would recommend not using it and buy a new one. I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION
