What use is this

I was playing with the key remote today and discovered that if you keep the unlock button depressed all the windows will drop to the bottom. If you keep the lock button depressed all the windows will close. I can see the need to close all the windows if for some reason you forget and get out of the car but why Question would you want to drop all of the windows at the same time Confused

If you return to your car in blazing sunshine then dropping then windows lowers the interior temperature quickly

Did think about that but seems a bit extreme especially when the FL2 is fitted with air con which does the job just as well.

i use it to pop down the windows to put things on the back seat in tight carparks

Also once the little one is strapped into his carseat, i can pop the windows down so he can shout bye bye to granddad and nanna whilst i am getting in the car Very Happy or close them again if he's been too noisy Smile Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Can say that this feature is a must over here, because as good as the airco is you really need to vent the hot air before getting in. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

the climate where you live might not need it, but elsewhere the chance to get some air moving in the car before you get in and turn the aircon on is probably quite useful.

There have even been a few days in the UK where I've used this feature ... Shocked

It's great for Australian summers. On hot days temperatures can reach 80 degrees inside the car. Not matter whose aircon you have it's quicker to release the hot air, then cool the car.
