CD Player weirdness

I had a weird one today.
I was playing a cd (6CD player version) and it started playing funny, then an error message came up saying disc unreadable.

No probs I thought, just a dirty/duff disc.
However when I took it out it was freezing to the touch and had condensation on the playing side.
Then it happened to two other cd's exactly the same. Freezing cold and condensation.

I did have the air con on but surely that isn't supposed to affect the player?!? Shocked

Had my aircon on today (yes, it even gets hot in Aberdeen, 26 degrees infact)and CD player was fine. Wonder if you have a leaky pipe behind the dash somewhere that just happens to be blowing into the CD player. ______________________

My experience of CD player problems is quite the opposite, mine has shut down several times with an overheating warning !

So I agree with leaky pipe suggestion.

i had my aircon on 16c yesterday and radomly took out various CD, all normal temperatures when they eventually popped out. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
