MY13> S,GS,XS & Dynamic do not come with heated windsceens as standard. I had to spec it on mine as part of the cold climate pack which includes heated washer jets Thumbs Up

Only you posh bugggers with HSE and HSE Lux have it as standard. Well when I say standard the price has most likely been incorporated into the vehicle Laughing

I used my winter park wipers briefy yesterday and the wipers do not sit where they normaly do when driving the car. I was under the impression that they would only move up once the car has been shut down. Whistle MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Looking at the headlamps and grille in the photograph, this looks like a MY2010-2012. Thanks for the confirmation on the MY2013 though, I didn't know that. Thumbs Up

Forgot to add that the run out MY15 models now have the heated windscreen and washer jets as standard!

During my student days I worked in a automotive centre and one harsh winter we exchanged so many Carplan de icers as they were not melting the ice! A few days later we were emailed a statement from Carplan stating that de icers should not be left in the car/freezing conditions as the chemical agent reacts and no longer melts the ice. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

What you have failed to notice is that she left her engine running while de-icing and some Jeremy Kyle viewer has jumped into the drivers seat to nick the car. She is actually spraying his face through the open door in the hope of blinding him as her CS is in the glove box. Very Happy

Learn from her mistake, and don't make it easy for the scum. Thumbs Up

Neither do I, fire up the Fuel Burning Heater for twenty minutes before I go out, all windows de iced.

One thing that does help is treating the screen with Duxback or Aquapel, ice doesn't stick so well on a treated screen.

Noticed today my side rears (not the rear seat windows, the ones behind those) have what looks like either aerials or heating elements in the glass. They didn't defrost today, and tbh I never noticed I had them before. Are these supposed to defrost with the rear window ?
