sounds like the variable resister operated by that knob is faulty. I can only presume, not having removed the knob , that it is behind it. Just a wild guess you understand Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

I noticed that when it rains the left air blend motor gives problems as explained above.
