Just been reading some of the comments posted on the carmagaznie website and many people are saying it is a Range Rover product rather than a Land Rover one. There is no mistaking the front and side - they are 100% Freelander proportions albeit the headlamps look a little too Kia Sportage for my liking. The rear end is dreadful - looks too much like a Evoque and the sloping roofline - no no bad move!

Land Rover did consider fitting the 2.7 TDV6 to the Freelander 2, and by all accounts there are a couple of prototypes stashed away somewhere in Gaydon.
