It depends on which year you go for. If your go for earlier models the GS will gain options such as auto light/wipers, terrain response, climate control, larger alloys and cloth/half leather.

The older XS did not have Sat Nav, that came when they did away with the SE. XS has front and rear parking sensors, half leather seats, different wheels, upgraded stereo (I think), heated front screen, puddle lamps, ear phone sockets in back and probably a few other bits. |

Best is to look on www.landrover.co.uk where it explains the differences between each of the current models.

It seems to me that unless you crave leather seats the model to go for is the "S" TD4. About 2 grand cheaper than the GS and 6 grand cheaper than the XS but has all the essentials like Terrain Response and Auto option.

I didn't think the 'S' had Terrain Response as standard. Does it? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Terrain response was on option on 4wd 'S' until 2011MY at which point it became standard.

Not on our MY10, as it was a cost option when new. But for the £120, I would have paid it.... |
